MPMR ARCHITECTURE is an architecture studio founded in Madrid in 2003 by Patricia Pérez Rodríguez and Ignacio Molina Millán, architects from UPM- ETSAM.
Our purpose is to shape our clients’ home ideas under a strong commitment to sustainability, innovation and quality.
Our extensive experience and dedication have made us experts in design and creation of exceptional architectural spaces. We are proud to offer a full range of services from conception to completion of architectural projects of all sizes and complexities.
About MPMR
Since its foundation in 2003, MPMR ARQUITECTURA has developed its activity for 11 years carrying out projects and management of residential and healthcare architecture works, specializing in the implementation of energy-efficient measures and the exploration of new high-efficiency construction systems.
Our commitment to sustainability, quality, and innovation has led us to collaborate with the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) in designing sustainable envelopes. We have developed medium-scale projects for Fuenlabrada University Hospital and the National Center for Oncological Research (CNIO) while translating our ideas into various single-family homes.
In 2014, Patricia and Ignacio decided to pause the studio project and further their professional careers in large engineering and construction companies. Ignacio specialized in BIM and digitalization, while Patricia became a Technical Coordinator for European R&D&I projects, collaborating, among others, with the Passivhaus Institute. This new phase led them to move to Montreal, Canada, in 2017 where they expanded theirinternational experience for four years working on the construction of the Montreal Light Rail (REM),with Ignacio as BIM Director and Patricia as Quality Coordinator for tracks and systems.
Returning to Spain in 2021, Patricia decided to revive the studio, and MPMR ARCHITECTURE reopened with a clear vision focused on customer service, quality, research, and sustainability, backed by the experience gained over 20 years of professional career. In 2021, Patricia became a certified Passivhaus designer and is an independent Expert consultant for the European Commission in the evaluation of Horizon Europe R&D&I projects for HADEA and CINEA.

Upon reopening the studio in 2021, I was determined to align my professional practice with my personal values and lifestyle. After many years in large companies and projects, I wanted to return to a more personalized approach with clients, dedicating all my attention and experience to creating projects that leave a lasting impact on those who inhabit them and reflect my commitment to sustainability, quality, and innovation.
